In the face of rising domestic gasoline prices, many retail businesses have been making efforts to control the price of goods to ensure supply and stabilise the market.
More than VND230 trillion (US$10.2 billion) of goods have been reserved
by businesses and price stabilisation outlets for the upcoming Tet
(Lunar New Year) Holiday.
Ha Noi will provide VND318 billion (roughly US$15 million) in
zero-interest loans between July 2013 and April 2014 in a bid to
stabilise the price of essential goods.
